The Falken Azenis RT660 stands as an Extreme Performance Summer tire meticulously crafted for motorsports enthusiasts, track day participants, and drivers seeking competition-ready levels of dry traction and handling. Tailored for maximum performance in warm, dry to damp conditions, the Azenis RT660, like all Extreme Performance Summer tires, is not suitable for service, storage, or operation in near-and below-freezing temperatures, snowy conditions, or on icy surfaces.

Key Features of the Falken Azenis RT660:
The Azenis RT660 employs a motorsports-inspired tread compound to enhance traction for acceleration, braking, and handling in both dry and wet conditions. Its low-void, symmetric pattern maximizes the rubber in contact with the surface, with massive shoulders delivering extreme lateral grip. The broad, continuous center rib ensures a solid on-center feel and provides longitudinal traction for acceleration and braking. Deep circumferential grooves and full-depth notches work to evacuate water from the contact patch, enhancing resistance to hydroplaning.

Internally, the Azenis RT660 features a two-ply polyester casing with Falken's Crosshatch Carcass design, enhancing handling and stability. Two wide steel belts support the tread area, reinforced by two polyamide cap plies to further improve handling and high-speed capability.

Note: Tires exposed to temperatures of 20 degrees F (-7 degrees C) or lower should gradually return to temperatures of at least 40 degrees F (5 degrees C) for at least 24 hours before any flexing, such as adjusting inflation pressures, mounting on wheels, or supporting, rolling, or driving a vehicle.

Flexing of the specialized rubber compounds in Extreme Performance Summer tires during cold-weather use can lead to irreversible compound cracking. Although compound cracking is not covered under warranty due to improper use or storage, tires displaying such cracking must be replaced.
